MacKillop Soccer Selections
Congratulations to Ky N for his outstanding representation of St Mary’s in the Canberra Goulburn Soccer team last week in Goulburn. Under gloomy skies, Ky played extremely well, showcasing his talented soccer skills against teams from the Wagga, Wollongong, Parramatta and Sydney Diocese.

Congratulations Ky on always showing such a positive attitude towards all experiences, being a fair and supportive team mate and a wonderful ambassador for our school.

Ky N: ‘I had a great day! The best thing was the warm showers because it was so cold! But when I was playing in the games, I was playing with some of the kids that I played with last year so it was good to see them again and play soccer together. The hardest team was Sydney, they beat us 2-1 and they were really good even though they didn’t score too many goals.’

MacKillop Cross Country
On Wednesday, Calvin M, Xavier E and Andre L participated at the NSWCPS MacKillop Cross Country Championships at the Equestrian Centre in Sydney. All three boys were very excited for the event and had been training hard in the lead up since the archdiocesan event several weeks ago. In some exciting news, the results for the boys are:

Calvin M: 25th /58 runners
Xavier E: 28th /50 runners
Andre L: 14th /55 runners

Congratulations boys on your amazing results! We are all very proud of you and you have been excellent ambassadors for St Mary’s and Canberra Goulburn.
